Visitor Policy - Uxbridge Clays(UXC)

Uxbridge Clays is a members only club, and thus is not open to public walk-ins for "Shooting". If you not a member then you are deemed a "Visitor" and must meet the following:

  1. You are invited by a current member of UXC and under their supervision; or
  2. You are booking a lesson with one of our instructors who will supervise you while on our grounds.
    To be clear, you cannot simply walk-in to visit into the club facilities without first contacting the Front Desk for a visitation appointment 
All Visitors to UXC will follow the procedures below:

  1. Visitors to UXC, must be invited and escorted at ALL TIMES by a UXC Senior member in good standing

  2. Each Visitor will pay a $40 admission fee for every visit to the club, plus the prevailing rates for targets and ammunition consumed

  3. Visitors are required to check-in at the Front Desk and complete an online waiver on each visit accompanied by the member that extended the invitation

  4. Obtain a Visitor Badges from the Front Desk and surrender a Drivers License/OHIP card or a Government issued ID card which will be returned once the Visitor Card is retuned

  5. Visitor Badges must be shown while on premises in order to use the grounds, failure to do so will result in expulsion from the grounds

  6. The same Visitor will only be allowed to shoot 3(three) times in a calendar year   

  7. Club ammunition must purchased and used on UXC fields 

  8. Eye & ear protection is mandatory for all visitors which is available at the front desk

  
Visitors without a PAL on UXC grounds:
  1. are NOT permitted to be in possession of a firearm while in UXC grounds
  2. must be accompanied by a member at all times, and when shooting on UXC fields, must be supervised by a Senior member in good standing with a valid PAL 
  3. must be taught by a UXC Certified instructor, visitor fee is included in the overall lesson fee 
Visitors with a PAL on UXC grounds:
  1. are permitted to be in possession of a firearm while on UXC grounds
  2. must be accompanied by a member at all times, and when shooting on UXC fields, must be supervised by a Senior member in good standing with a valid PAL
  3. Visitors taking lessons, must be taught by a UXC Certified instructor, visitor fee is included in the overall lesson fee
